As of 10:00 today, the situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border is assessed as relatively stable. Nevertheless, in some cases, the demands of the ceasefire are being violated by the Kyrgyz military, reports the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.
From the side of the settlements of Samarkandek and Koktosh of the Kyrgyz Batken district, the border regions of Tajikistan are being shelled from group weapons.
Along with this, there is the deployment of additional Kyrgyz military forces to the border and the strengthening of combat positions, which indicates preparations for the next provocative actions of the Kyrgyz military, and imminent further destabilization of the situation.
Tajikistan is a supporter of the restoration of security and stability on the border of the two neighboring countries, and is directong all its efforts to negotiate and resolve the conflict through diplomatic means.
